CUSTOM SYMBOLS not refreshing or downloading data overnight/globex

Hello, I am using some custom symbols in the futures mkt say march 23 crude and may 23 crude. the symbol works perfectly during the day session but at night and globex i am just getting a flat line and no line at all sometimes then as soon as 9.30 rolls around the chart starts populating. I did check yes historical data download below the uses formula operators on my custon symbols thank you for your help. ALSO i had some personal issues and was away from the platform for a 8 months and i wanted to say that the new updated way of moving around the system and being able to change varaibles quickly and see them change as you make changes is amazing. thank you so much for a great upgrade, |

actually.. it is upadating so long as the computer is on and data is being downloaded but when the computer is in sleep mode or off then the CUSTOM INTRADAY 1 minute symbold does not update or refill in the lost data |

Thank you for your response I am in the process of trying the fix by opening the intraday charts used in the custom symbols. all of them. For clarification purposes in the future and could you add this to the solution under custom symbols not updating ... If I open an intraday chart that is used within my custom symbol does it matter if say my custom symbol is a 1 minute chart and the intraday i open is a 5 minute chart? i am wondering how the data is downloaded and if the same granularity matters or should i in fact be opening and downloading a chart that is actually a smaller time frame to assure no data gaps? thanks again and i will stop back by if your solutions worked which im sure they will have a great day |
