60Hz refresh rate distorts my HLC bars

I got a new computer last week, moved to Windows 11 and I now have an expensive video card in my new computer. I do use a 4k TV, and I was hoping that my new set up would let me run SC at 60Hz, but it doesn't. Both, my old computer and my new computer with the 4k TV at 30Hz, display my HLC bars perfectly, the bars couldn't look better. That's the way it's always been, and, 60Hz has always distorted my bars, old or new. With the old computer I just kept it at 30Hz and said the hell with it. I could care less about running SC at 30Hz or 60Hz, I don't think it's possible to tell the difference between the two, that's not the issue. Here's the issue: keep it at 30Hz and have picture perfect HLC bars but have a throttled down video card or keep it at 60Hz and have crappy looking HLC bars but have much improved, great looking graphics everywhere else online. I'm not interested in changing the refresh rate twice a day, week after week, month after month, why can't I have the best of both worlds without having to change the refresh rate everyday.

From our perspective it is hard for us to know what you are seeing or what the issue is specifically but we would recommend changing the thickness/width of the bars. This can be done through the Graphics Settings window:

The specific issue is that your software can not deliver the goods at 60hz, period. I have 15 charts in my chartbook, all with various time frames, various bar spacings. Let's say, for example, at 60Hz, 5 of those charts are incorrectly displaying the HLC bars. I knew how to correct the 5 misbehaving charts before I ever sent the request in, you change the bar spacing. Say I want my 15 min chart to have a 12 bar spacing, just as I always have, and now, at 60Hz, the 12 bar spacing displays the HLC bars incorrectly. OK, fine, let's try a 13 bar spacing or an 11 bar spacing, nope, that's not the ticket, well, let's try a 14 bar or a 10 bar spacing, bingo, both bar spacings deliver a picture perfect HLC bar. Meanwhile, shifting back to a 30Hz refresh rate, same chartbook, same charts, every single chart, from a 5 bar spacing all the way to a 30 bar spacing, displays a picture perfect HLC bar. The shortcomings are all on your end, and that's fine, I'm not going anywhere, there's not anybody out there that can come close to delivering what Sierra Chart delivers. I only submitted the request thinking that maybe somewhere/something needed to be enabled/disabled and then everything would be good. But that's not case, so I'll make the necessary adjustments in SC and run my new computer at 60Hz.
