Hello Sierra Chart, I am having an issue with the Draw Volume Profile tool. Specifically the VbP profile seems to be limiting the volume indicated and drawing an incorrectly looking profile. My chart data and volume at price multiplier is set to 1. Please see below. https://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1673373320261.png Thank you for your help! |

Do you have a defined Study Collection associated with the Drawn Volume Profile that is setting the behavior for the drawing? Refer to the following: Volume By Price Study: Step by Step Instructions to Configure the Draw Volume Profile Tool For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

You need to go to the Configurations you have setup for the drawing tool and remove the Study Collection for the Drawn Volume Profile. Refer to the following: Chart Drawing Tools: Drawing Tool Configuration For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

I have removed all of the chart study collections and remade a brand new configuration as stated per the draw volume profile tool instructions. The tool is still not drawing a proper profile. I wouldnt mind completely resetting Sierra Chart back to default, am i able to do this?

So you created a new Study Collection and added that to a configuration for the Draw Volume Profile and used that particular configuration, and yet you are still seeing something odd? Have you tried using the Draw Volume Profile with a Configuration that does not have any Study Collections associated with it? If so, what does that look like? Yes, still see the odd profiles. Here is what i see without a collection associated. https://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1673465414314.png |

That looks correct for what it is. The main reason that looks odd is because you are placing a Volume by Price profile on a Daily chart. Refer to the following regarding this: Volume By Price Study: How Volume by Price is Calculated for Historical Daily and Higher Timeframe Charts For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
