Hi, My ES data was taking a long time to load up whenever I opened the chart. I then deleted some data folders from the sierra chart folder inside my computer. I had around 200 GB of data, and that really helped speed up whenever I opened charts My charts were a bit slow last night so I deleted some more data folders, but now I can't redownload certain data files on ES. I am trying to download the last 4 years of data, but it downloads 2018, and then skips straight to 2022 I have tried deleting and re-downloading the data multiple times but nothing seems to work. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks |

Hi Yes I have tried all those steps. When I get to the part of deleting and downloading data, I select the years that are missing and it just stays on downloading continuous contract data. How Long should I expect to wait? I have waited around 20-30 mins but nothing happens I am trying to download the last 5 years roughly. It has some of 2018, then skips all of 2019, and starts in 2021. But Now its only starting from 2020, so nothing before that. Its just stuck saying downloading continuous contract data |

Depending on your network connection and if you are trying to download tick-by-tick data, then it could take more than 30 minutes. It sounds like everything is working properly, so you just need to give it the time to download the data you asked for. An alternative is to get the data at a larger spacing (1 second, or 1 minute) depending on whether you can do that or not. It is going to take a long time to download tick by tick data for that many years. You have to use a larger Storage Unit.
