Drawing a Vol Pro. unable to edit the profile once drawn on the chart.

I have contacted SC about this in the past, but I am to a point where I need to draw Vol Pro. using the tool rather than the Vol by Price "Study" I draw the VolPro and there is no way to edit it on my system. I have clicked on every sq in. of the profile and nothing. I have used this tool in the distant past and it worked fine, but now nothing. I have sent you chart-books and they work on your system. but on mine, nothing. unable to edit them. Any help would be greatly appreciated. P.S. Tell Ray I said Hi. Maybe he can log on to my computer and see what he thinks when he has a minute. Douglas Miller |

In Tools >> Tool Settings >> General, what are the following two settings set to: - Select Drawn Volume Profile by Outline Only - Enable Drawn Volume Profile Selection For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

That worked. I now can select the Vol Pro. Thanks :) I cant adjust the properties of the drawn VP. ( Chart Drawing Properties is Greyed out. ) I have to open a study and set a profile up and save it, then go to the chart and I can draw a profile. Pain in the butt. Is there a way to activate the Drawing Properties? |

You need to right-click on the drawn profile and then select the option for Volume Profile Settings. This will bring up the study settings for the Volume Profile.

I right click on the VolPro and the Volume Profile is greyed out. That's what I'm trying to access. Wondering why it's greyed out. I'm guessing there is a setting somewhere.

You need to select the option at the bottom of the list for Volume Profile Settings. Not the Chart Drawing Properties.

Yea, I noticed that last night. Thanks for getting back. Don't know if this is possible but it would be nice to have a save button on the Study Settings window. Were you can "Set Defaults" be able to set the current setting to one of the TC buttons. Thanks again.
