Hello, The new update for sierra chart has omitted some analytics, and i was hoping that you would elaborate on why this happened and if this is going to be the norm going into the future with sierra chart and if you have a list of the indicators you will be deleting and or what the criteria is for deleting certain indicators and or analytics. thank you i do think it is unprofessional to just have someone download new versions of your chart software to find out the indicators they have used for years are just "GONE" "vanashied" or just deleted. an explanation would go a long way from a customer service stand point. thank you Date Time Of Last Edit: 2022-05-02 17:22:53

We are removing studies, which were part of User Contributed Studies but have built-in equivalents. If not, we need to know which ones and we will add them. For now you can stay on an earlier version. If you also let us know what studies you are using and do not have access to, we will tell you the built-in equivalent . We will make a list of the equivalent studies. And make sure anything that is missing is added, which really should be none. Really we thought there was very very little use of these old User Contribute Studies. And we know they all have built in equivalents. I use the KER (Kaufman Efficiency Ratio) and QQE (Quantitative Qualitative Estimation) custom studies. I no longer have access to KER and QQE in SC Version 2390. Please add these back to the custom studies or let me know if there are a equivalents. Thanks.

I understand and see that there are SC built-in equivalent studies. My issue is that several of these user contributed studies were being used and referenced in study collections. I've had to spend quite a bit of time finding the equivalent SC studies and redoing the study collections which then need to be removed from many charts and re-applied. |

The Nminibar study did not require you to hae an extra chart open and i could easily overlay say a 15 minute colored bar then a 5 minute colroed bar and a 1 minute colroed bar or a range bar or a volume bar.. all on 1 chart by duplicating the study and changing the time frame now with you "equivalent" study i have to have numerous and cumbersome charts open in order to do what i have been doing for 4 years! in order to put this nminibar study rapidly on the different charts i now need to open multiple charts for each symbol. How is this an equivalent????? these changes and omissions are terrible by the way. |

The laquirre study was called "ALF" under cusotom studies in your older versions. it was not the LAQUIRE filter or any of the other"equivalent" studies you say are still available. 50 % of what i used sierra chart for is gone. just gone. after 4 years of patronage |
