Hi, I've overlaid (using the Study/Price Overlay Study) the USDX symbol on a (time-based) futures chart (let's say 1min) which is the host chart; I am trying to import/copy horizontal levels from a higher time frame chart (separate) of the USDX symbol into the overlaid USDX symbol; is it possible to do that? So far, I've set in the gold chart the "Copy Chart Drawings From Chart #'s" using the higher time frame chart of the USDX symbol chart and checked "Show Chart Drawings for Different Symbols" but no levels appear in the overlaid USDX chart. Please could you let me know if this can be done? Many thanks Regards |

Are the "horizontal levels" you are trying to copy drawings or are they from a study? If they are drawings, then you are doing the right thing, but most like the problem is that the price scale you are using for your primary chart is very different from that of the USDX chart, therefore the drawings are being copied and displayed, but they are at a level that you are not looking at on your chart. For example, let's say the USDX is trading at about 90, and you draw lines at prices of 89 and 91. When you copy those to an ES chart which trades around 4275.00, those lines are drawn down at 89 and 91, so you would need to scroll all the way down to that level to see the drawings. We are assuming that you were able to overlay the USDX by using an Independent scale, or it's in a different region. In either case, there is no equivalent feature for drawings (they have to be at the levels at which they were originally drawn, and they only copy to Region 1).
