Step by step account of what happens: 1. I log into sierra chart and open up a work book - AUD/USD 2. I then go into chart settings/find symbol 3. I open Bitfinex or Binance, get symbols and find either ETHUSD or BTCUSD 4. I click apply and wait for it to load. I do this with all time frames and windows that are open. 5. The chart doesn't load all the way often stuck around the 20% mark 6. If I click to try and close the work book or try to make any adjustment it will crash the software (not responding error message appears) and ill have to start over. 7. This only happens with the crypto symbols - forex, gold, oil and the S&P all work fine Hope that explains it clearer.

Had similar issues. Start with a blank chart with no studies. At least no volume based studies like VWAP or Profiles. Also set a higher tick size.

I use: VWAP Market profile blocks Volume Profile Time based candlesticks Cant I use these to make it work?

You need to increase the Chart Tick Size setting to much higher. We recommend making it 100 times higher just to start off with to be on the safe side.
