Have deleted the C:\SierraChart folder a number of times, then did fresh download and reinstall, but am getting the same message? I've had MIM attacks and other problems. My next step will be a fresh install of winXP unless you have any other suggestions. Thx.

Make sure you have the .NET 4 framework installed and the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable package. A partial log of my repairs: 9. repair of .NET framework 10. install new SC instance, starts OK. (study collection files OK in 'Analysis') 11. re copy the sierra3.cfg file to current instance of Sierra (purpose to have toolbar, charts settings reset) 12. restart SC, 13. after the exit of SC, clicking on SierraChart.exe, or the shortcut gets the same error: "not a valid win32 application." There may be some hack or virus in the PC? Am considering an install of SC to linux, or a virtual machine of windows inside of a linux partition. Any ideas are appreciated. Thx. |
