I am using Rithmic. Sierra Chart v997 I have an open future spread chart: NGU3-NGZ3-NYMEX set to 500 tick. If I go to chart settings and change this to a 10-5-5 Flex Renko chart then the chart goes black and begins loading but hangs at 2%. I have waited up to 30 min and the chart has not loaded. However, if I go to: Find Symbol and open a new chart for NGU3-NYMEX, change it from the 1 minute default setting to 10-5-5 Flex Renko, then that chart loads fine. Then if I go to this new chart and under chart settings change the symbol to NGU3-NGZ3-NYMEX, then the chart loads fine in under 5 seconds. This failure to load problem happens to me on any spread chart that I have open that I try to change from a tick timeframe to a flex renko timeframe. I have to always go through the process of opening a new chart, set it to some future contract, set that future contract to flex renko, allow the chart to load, then change the chart back to the spread. The failure to load will be addressed in ver 1005, when available. Also, be sure your tick size is properly set for your spread. If the tick size is not properly set, the Renko can not be correctly built. When you loaded a future first, the tick size was being set to the tick size of the future. |
