In the "Spreadsheet System for Trading" there is a read-only cell that outputs the Current Open Position. I'd like to see that value for each bar/time period so I can construct/test strategies that scale in and out. Is there a study that can keep track of positions by time period? Thanks. |

The answer is yes for the first question. Refer to the documentation here: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_SystemsAlerts.php#CellJ5 We could add the capability to make position data available historically for a particular symbol. This will be through a "Trading:" study. We will see about that. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users.
