My Triggered Trail Stop Order setup works perfect in Sim-mode but not in real time. The Trig.Offset does not activate in Real-time.
The Trade Service Log also details errors, when the Trig.Offset should have triggered. see attached pics.
Order opened at 16:10, closed at 16:15:31
note: Global Settings >> Chart Trade Settings >> Adjust Trail Offset When Modifying Trail Order is enabled.

How to fix please? intend is ... [initial Stop = -22, move to -5 and commence trail when price = +5]

FXCM is saying the order price did not pass validation.

Therefore we recommend to increase the Trail Offset. Look at the Bid and Ask prices. Apparently you're getting too close to one of them.

We would think it would be best to trade the futures instead of the CFD for the ASX 200.

A while ago, we started to develop a relationship with Macquarie to trade the ASX, through a TT FIX adapter. We can check again with them on this.

Thanks; ... I was using Entry Price as reference instead of current price when formulating Trail.Offset; -5..+5, =10) (Trail.Offset now set to 10)

Problems with 'old fashioned' futures is Leverage; Margin required for ASX-200 Future Contract = $5,000 vs $500 for CFD (or even less with a tighter Stop) ... this really makes a difference when increasing contract sizes. This is why CFD brokers are gaining so much momentum [IG, FXCM, GAIN/Forex.com, etc.]
