Is there a way to apply conditional formatting to studies? For example, the Rate of Change-Percent indicator would be drawn in a different color or with a thicker line when it has an absolute value that exceeds a certain threshold. Thanks for your help.

You need to create a custom study that does this. Please refer to the documentation here: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_CreatingDLLs.html We do not provide programming help. A variation of this can easily be done with the Color Bar Based On Alert Condition study. This study cannot overdraw a line of a different color or width, but it can place points, squares, background colors, or other non-connecting draw styles when values exceed a certain threshold. You could also change the draw style of the ROC study to a non-connecting draw style, and then the Color Bar Based On Alert Condition study could be set to the same draw style but a different color or width. If you want to pursue this solution, post again and I'll provide an example. |
