Hello,

I would like to increase the upper and lower margins of a chart in order to be able to see the support / resistance marked lines – or indicators - with some anticipation.

I have been trying to do it but I couldn't figure out how. Is it possible to do that with Sierra Chart? If so, how can I do that?

Thanks in advance.

there is a user contributed study under the "add custom study" button called "Screen Padder" .. this is good assuming you use an automatic scale setting

you can also use a constant range scale (instead of automatic) and use the value scale to set the range

Trade2day1,

Thank you for your reply.

I would prefer some setting like a percentage of the chart but the "Screen Padder" will do it too.

Thanks.

i believe you can set a number of ticks for the upper and lower padding in the settings

Yes, I have already done it.

Thanks again.

You need to use the Interactive Scale Range feature in Sierra Chart. This is documented here:
