Does Sierra Chart have a relative volume study or an equivalent? If not, is there a custom study available?

Not really sure what a Relative Volume study is. Do you have the formula for this?

This is a custom relative volume study that was kindly shared by Bob Duffy as an Open Source code. Please read and respect the disclaimer at the top of the code. SC Team - the formula to a relative volume study would be: Cumulative volume from session start to current moment/ Average of X days of the Cumulative volume from sessions start to current moment. Usually expressed as Percent. Also there are some Relative volume studies that compare the volume of each bar to the average volume of this specific bar X days back but this is less useful in my opinion. |
